Astrolink - Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 22, 2026
App: Astrolink
Vendor: Numeric Oasis
1. Data We Collect
Astrolink does not collect, store, or persist any data on any server. The app operates entirely in real-time:
Work Item Data (Transient): When you open the panel, Astrolink reads work item metadata (key, summary, type, status, assignee, links) via the Jira API to render the graph. This data is used solely for visualization and is never stored.
User Preferences (Browser Only): Theme and display preferences are saved to your browser’s localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
2. Personal Data Processing
The only personal data processed in-memory during graph rendering is:
Assignee display name (shown in tooltips)
Assignee avatar URL (used in avatar node style)
We do not collect or store email addresses, IP addresses, passwords, authentication tokens, or any data beyond what is transiently needed for visualization.
3. Data Storage and Retention
Server-Side Storage: None. Astrolink uses no databases or server-side persistence of any kind.
Client-Side Storage: Display preferences stored in browser localStorage. Clearable at any time via browser settings.
Data Deletion: No stored data exists to delete. Uninstalling the app removes it completely.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties. All data remains within the Atlassian ecosystem. No external network calls are made.
5. Security
Runs entirely on Atlassian Forge infrastructure (sandboxed).
Read-only scopes — the app cannot modify any data.
Work items you lack permission to view are rendered as locked nodes with no data exposed.
6. GDPR Compliance
Since Astrolink stores no personal data on any server, GDPR data subject rights are satisfied by design. All data shown in the graph comes directly from Jira’s own API.
